Video: Coach Cal, Kentucky Join Forces With Make-A-Wish To Fulfill Young Man’s Dream
This past Saturday, Kentucky’s Julius Randle, against LSU, scored the game-winning basket on a broken play that, in all honesty, was a bit fortunate. Coach Cal has a very simple explanation for it: Josh Fleming brought them the luck they needed.
Fleming, who suffers from a serious heart condition, spent a day-and-a-half with the Wildcats as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He got to shoot around with the team, watch the players practice, and even wear his own UK jersey with his last name on the back. He was also able to sit court-side for the game against the Tigers, which went down to the wire. He then got some praise from Coach Cal himself at the post-game press conference for being the difference in the contest.
