Rick Pitino Thinks People On Social Media Are “A Great Class Of Underachievers”
It’s certainly understandable that Louisville coach Rick Pitino has no time for social media in his busy work schedule. And it’s certainly understandable that he doesn’t want his players on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram as well. But he may have gone a bit far when proclaiming that those who dwell on what’s said on social media are “a great class of underachievers”. Pitino, when prompted by a reporter, ended his regular Monday news conference with a few bold lines about the Twittersphere.
As you can imagine, the “underachieving” jokes about Pitino are currently flying on the social media platform. Luckily, he won’t have to read them.
