The 40-yard dash is probably the most discussed NFL combine test, and it is a particularly important measure for wide receivers. The receiver 40 times are all set, and there are some big names among the top 10.


Biletnikoff Award winner Brendin Cooks from Oregon State takes home the fastest 40 time. The 4.33 official mark, combined with his monster 1730 yard, 16 touchdown 2013 season should really help his stock.


If anyone wonders why Clemson’s offense has been so prolific, just take a look at the times of Tiger receivers Martavis Bryant and Sammy Watkins. When a team has two players who are over six-feet tall and 200 pounds, and they both run low-4.4 40-yard dashes, that passing game is probably going to be effective.
