The Denver Broncos had two weeks to prepare for their first offensive drive against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII. Yet on the first play from scrimmage, quarterback Peyton Manning and his center, Manny Ramirez, weren’t on the same page on the snap. Ramirez snapped the ball way over Manning’s head, which led to a safety and a 2-0 lead for Seattle. It’s hard to believe:
I can’t remember a Super Bowl starting off in such an odd way. We’ll see if the Broncos offense can recover from the mishap.
