Video: Syracuse Defeats Duke In Overtime, Escapes With 91-89 Win To Move To 21-0
It took an extra five minutes of bonus basketball, but we finally have a winner: the Syracuse Orange has defeated Duke in overtime, 91-89. Once again, the Blue Devils had a chance to tie at the buzzer — or win this time — but Quinn Cook’s last-ditch shot came up off of the mark:
After Duke’s Rasheed Sulaimon hit a ridiculous buzzer-beater three to send the game into overtime, the Blue Devils found themselves a bit short-handed — both Amile Jefferson and Jabari Parker fouled out in regulation. With the win, Syracuse moves to 21-0 on the season.
The two teams square off again in exactly three weeks, next time at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium. I think it’s safe to say that you’ll want to tune in.
