Video: Wisconsin Misses Forced Three, Drops Home Game To Ohio State
Wisconsin and Ohio State entered today’s game as two teams amidst really bad stretches. Wisconsin had lost four of five after opening the season 16-0, while Ohio State had dropped five of its last six games. Down the stretch, neither team looked like it wanted to win.
With about eight seconds left with Ohio State up one, Lenzelle Smith Jr. received the ball on a fast break, but missed a lay-up, and travelled after getting bumped by teammate Amir Williams while corralling the offensive rebound, giving the Badgers one last possession. The Badgers failed to get a decent look, however, and had to resort to this well-defended three pointer from Sam Dekker, which bricked off the backboard, securing a big road win for Ohio State, 59-58.
