Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is basically made of money – he’s worth $2.4 billion, the last time we all checked. But despite what he initially tweeted to his followers after Denver’s botched snap that led to a Seattle Seahawks safety, that number won’t be significantly increasing Sunday. Cuban claimed that he put $20 down on the first play from scrimmage being a safety to win $20 million – which would be a ridiculous 1,000,000:1 odds. While many gullible followers believed his story, he later revealed that he was kidding around.
Casinos don’t usually offer such absurd odds – not even on prop bets. You can’t blame non-gamblers for that lack of knowledge, however.
