Photo: LSU’s Maravich Center Is Going Full “Purple Out” Tonight vs. Kentucky
Tonight, LSU plays host to No. 11 Kentucky at the Maravich Center in the team’s most important conference matchup to date — the Tigers need a big conference win to prove that they have a legitimate shot in the SEC. They have only lost two games on their home floor this season, and look to keep it that way against the Wildcats in front of a raucous crowd. In fact, the school is trying to amp up the energy, and has made the game a “purple out” — every seat in the arena has a purple t-shirt on it waiting for the fans:
There’s no doubt that this will please UK’s John Calipari, who likes to mention that every team brings out pom poms and t-shirts when the ‘Cats come into town — there will be plenty of roaring Tigers supporters waiting for them. You can tune in to the game on ESPN at 9:00 EST.
