Just a day after an emotional game for many of the Brooklyn Nets against Boston, Paul Pierce and the gang were at it again tonight in another thriller, this time vs. Toronto. With 12 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the Nets had the ball and a one-point lead, but Deron Williams’ inbound pass was stolen by Raptors forward Patrick Patterson. Patterson quickly dished the ball to Lowry and spotted up on the wing, and Lowry delivered it right back — not only did Patterson come up with the biggest steal of the game, he also hit what turned out to be the game-winner with six seconds left on the clock:

Paul Pierce had a chance for a game-winner of his own, and pulled up for a deep three-pointer at the buzzer, but it came up short and bounced off of the front iron.
