Video: Penn State Knocks Off Ohio State On Last-Second D.J. Newbill Jumper
Ohio State, ranked as high as No. 3 in the nation earlier this season, is officially in free fall mode. The Buckeyes lost another game Wednesday night – their fifth in the last six – to a Penn State squad currently sitting in last place in the Big Ten. Junior guard D.J. Newbill nailed the game-winner for the Nittany Lions with 1.9 seconds left in overtime. Buckeyes point guard Aaron Craft was unable to get off a shot on OSU’s final possession.
Newbill gave the Buckeyes fits all night, scoring 25 points and pulling down eight boards. It’s safe to say that Ohio State is officially putting itself in bubble territory.
