Ole Miss found out who.
No, Louisiana-Lafayette wasn’t really ranked in this week’s AP Poll released this morning, but for a few minutes there, it looked like the Ragin’ Cajuns had someone on the inside at the Associated Press. The Coaches’ Poll, unfortunately, doesn’t have similar controversy.
Alabama and Florida State remain on a collision course to play for the BCS national championship, but we now know which team will be waiting, should either fall. Baylor’s awful performance against Oklahoma State last night has put the Ohio State Buckeyes in prime position to receive an invite to play for it all. The Bucks are now ranked No. 3 in both polls.
By virtue of Oregon and Baylor’s losses, Auburn and Missouri have jumped into the conversation as well – both sets of Tigers have a chance to win the SEC in the coming weeks.
Here’s the entire Coaches’ Poll for this week – it’s a bit SEC-heavy at the top.
