Video: Michael Cobbins Had A Clutch Block At The Buzzer As Oklahoma State Survived Against Butler
This afternoon, Butler took on No. 5 Oklahoma State down in Orlando for an awesome battle between undefeated basketball teams as part of the Old Spice Classic. The Cowboys got off to a hot start and were sitting comfortably at half, leading by 14, but Butler is a team that refuses to quit fighting. The Bulldogs battled all of the way back to give themselves a shot at the win in the game’s final seconds.
Coming off a missed Le’Bryan Nash free throw and trailing by two, Butler guard Elijah Brown brought the ball up the court and pulled up for what would have been the game-winning three. The only problem? The ball went backwards, as Oklahoma State Michael Cobbins blocked it into roughly the eighth row of the crowd:

With the win, Oklahoma State moves to 7-0 on the season. The Cowboys were paced by guard Marcus Smart, who had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
