If you ever get a group of NBA players together to sing classic holiday songs, you’d better keep your expectations pretty low — unless you are hoping for high comedy, of course.
Each year, teams love to make funny videos with players singing Christmas songs, but the Houston Rockets went a different route with their holiday jingle in 2013. Dwight Howard and the boys got together to do their best version of “The Dreidel Song” — it makes sense that the Rockets would choose a Jewish song considering Omri Casspi, a member of the Rockets, is the first ever Israeli-born NBA player (although he didn’t seem to know the words very well).

These type of videos are great because you can see each player’s different personality. You have guys like Chandler Parsons taking it seriously, Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones freestyle rapping, and then Aaron Brooks calling an audible and singing the Animaniacs theme song. It’s all great stuff.
Stay tuned for more Dwight Howard remixes — we’re hoping for more, at least.
