Video: Roy Williams Was Super Excited In The Locker Room After UNC Upset Louisville
Just over a week ago, the North Carolina Tar Heels dropped an inexcusable game to Belmont, and college basketball observers everywhere wrote off the Tar Heels as being overhyped again this season. Then yesterday happened, and UNC knocked off No.3 Louisville on a neutral court, 93-84 , in a game that really wasn’t even that close. So now North Carolina has shot up the polls yet again, and we realize UNC is like many other teams this season: very talented, but still needs to show up every game if it wants to win — and that’s just fine.
Of course, the win over the defending champs was a testament to how good the Tar Heels can be, and deserved to be celebrated. The team did just that, going crazy in the locker room after the game, led by head coach Roy Williams. Here’s video, via GoHeelsTV :
The Heels can’t celebrate for too long, however — their next game is against a decent UAB squad, and in less than two weeks, they travel to East Lansing to take on No. 1 Michigan State.
