Ohio State football players always know just what to say , it seems. Today is the first time that the Buckeyes got a chance to speak with the media on ‘Beat Michigan Week ‘, and linebacker Ryan Shazier has fired the first shot. When asked what he knows about Michigan’s offense, he didn’t hold back:
Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier on Michigan: “I know they’ve probably given up a thousand tackles for loss this season.”

To be fair, his comment isn’t completely out of line — Michigan has struggled mightily to create running lanes for its backs, and the pass protection for Gardner has been pretty awful as well. That being said, the last thing Urban Meyer probably wants to hear is that another one of his players is giving teams extra motivation. Sorry Urban — it’s too late.
