ESPN announcer Matt Millen played professional football for 12 years, then served as the President and CEO of the Detroit Lions organization for another eight. Perhaps we’re starting to see why the franchise suffered for nearly a decade under his reign.
Millen had to be informed that an unsportsmanlike penalty on the defense always equates to a first down for the offense. Yikes.
I’d say that I’m surprised, but… I’m not.
