Butch Jones After Another Tennessee Loss: “I Expect More Out Of Our Program”
Butch Jones has had an up-and-down season so far in his first year as head coach at Tennessee. Most Volunteers fans will agree he has the team headed in the right direction — the team is two-thirds of the way through the self-proclaimed “hardest schedule in the history of college football” , and has stayed competitive in numerous games against some very tough opponents.
Tonight’s 31-3 defeat at the hands of Missouri was a disappointing one, however, and Jones expects more of the team as it continues to strive for a place in postseason play:
The schedule doesn’t get any easier for Tennessee, as the Vols host the Auburn Tigers at Neyland Stadium next weekend.
