It’s no secret that many of the most passionate fan bases in college football come from areas that lack an NFL team’s presence – some great examples are the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Oregon Ducks and the Oklahoma Sooners. Arkansas and its coach, Bret Bielema, apparently want the Razorbacks added to that list. They’ve got a new marketing campaign dedicated to it:
It’s an interesting tactic, because clearly most people who live in Arkansas are aware that there is no NFL team to root for. It’s also a bit weird that they’re blatantly using the NFL’s logo in the graphic. Arkansas fans – what do you think of Bielema’s new campaign?
