This Thursday night, No. 5 Stanford plays host to No. 3 Oregon in a game that could once again have national championship implications. In 2012, the Ducks were undefeated and in the driver’s seat for the BCS National Championship Game before getting derailed by the Cardinal 17-14 in Eugene. This time around, Oregon is expecting a much different ending.
Star running back De’Anthony Thomas was asked about the Stanford defense today, and if it could hold Oregon’s offense to only 14 points again. His response? “I don’t think so. I feel like this team, we should at least put up 40.” Here’s video, via GoDucks.com:
You can catch the game at 9:00 EST on Thursday on ESPN — it should be a great one.
