Revenge is sweet for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After dropping last year’s Capital One Bowl to Georgia, the Huskers took this year’s Gator Bowl battle against the Bulldogs in an exciting game that went down to the wire.
In the game’s final minute, Georgia trailed Nebraska by five, but found itself inside the Cornhuskers’ red zone, threatening to score. Nebraska made a couple of huge stops, and it all came down to a 4th down play with 25 seconds remaining. Hutson Mason found Arthur Lynch open across the middle, but Lynch couldn’t bring in the pass, sealing the win for Bo Pelini’s squad, 24-19:
